Wow, time really flies! Only a few weeks to go and then I am on holidays again! Wow, just wow!
Class is still going smoothly. I am really enjoying my new school - the people, the work and everything is just so much better. I feel so at home, something I haven't felt in ages. I don't know when my previous school became a problem to me...maybe it was after something some of the teachers said or perhaps the student body itself? I'm not going to bother trying to figure it out, since I am gone from there now and I don't need to think any further about it.
I am currently working on an oil painting for Art. It's my first time working with oil paints and it's rather exciting. If I have permission, I might upload a scan of the artwork later in the future for all of you to view. I have also learned a few interesting facts about oil painting - like cleaning your brushes with baby oil. Just the thought of it is absurd, but baby oil works a miracle to clean your brushes - I'm serious! I have also learned that mixing paints with your brushes is a messy nuisance, so I had to purchase a pallette knife to save me so much trouble. Art shops are also my new favourite hang out places - I love browsing through the different styles of art.
Japanese is my favourite subject. Of course it is! Haha. I'm actually catching up rather quickly and I'm doing much better than I anticipated I would. My Kanji is rather messy, but with practice I will come to write much easier and neatly (I could only hope). Luckily my Hiragana looks neat. And I can't wait to visit Japan with the school (now all I need is some cash)! I might have to open commissions of some sort (maybe literature) so that I can save some money for the trip.
And lately I have picked up an obsession for SesshomaruxKagome. I have a soft spot for the weird it seems.
